Mandarin is taught as a second language in Kindergarten

In an effort to introduce BRCPS students, parents and staff to the global community, BRCPS has piloted Mandarin as a second language into the Kindergarten curriculum where language acquisition is most easily embraced. The global outreach program includes partnerships with four sister schools in China. Plans to expand the program to the upper grades are presently underway.
