The Boston Renaissance Charter Public School acknowledges the fact that school resources alone are not enough to nurture the academic, social and emotional skills of our students, enabling them to be successful citizens of the 21st century. We need our neighbors, local businesses and community organizations, to take a role in the education of our students. To that end, Renaissance is committed to building and maintaining Community & Business Partnerships that meet the needs of both the school and our partner organizations.
Partners take our school beyond what it could ever do alone.
Partnerships are designed to match the resources of local businesses and community organizations with the needs of the school, supporting Renaissance students, staff, and families. Partnership programs come in all different shapes and sizes, from arts enrichment to academic tutoring to literacy development. Level of involvement also varies, from a one-to-one relationship between a volunteer tutor and student to an Adopt-a-Class relationship between a corporate team and a specific classroom.
The philosophy and purpose of our various partnerships is to enhance student achievement and assist in meeting the mission of the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School. Community and business partners offer creative solutions to many challenges facing education today. Partners take our school beyond what it could ever do alone.
